World Manufacturer Identifier - WMI

Tekne company, as a vehicle manufacturer, is identified with V.I.S. (Vehicle Indicator Section) L61, according to the World Manufacturer Identifier, an international system of coding manufacturers.

The code is assigned by the Technical Commission for Unification for the Motor Vehicle (CUNA), appointed by the Ministry of Transport to assign the WMI (World Manufacturer Identifier) code to road construction companies based in Italy, in accordance with ISO 3780.

NATO COMMERCIAL AND GOVERNMENT ENTITY CODE (NCAGE)

From October 2017 Tekne is present in the NATO coding system with the NCAGE code AP909.

The assignment of the code by the Ministry of Defense enables Tekne as a supplier of products and services to the Defense Administrations of the NATO countries.

The NCAGE Code - NATO Commercial and Governmental Entity Code - is a five-character alphanumeric code, assigned by the OCC (Central Codification Body) essential to be able to carry out activities at international level.

Italian Ministry of Transport and Infrastructures

Tekne has been certified suitable for mass production of vehicles by the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport for the categories:

VEHICLES Category M: motor vehicles intended for the transport of people
VEHICLES Category N: motor vehicles intended for the transport of goods
VEHICLES Category O: trailers
ELECTRICAL REQUALIFICATION SYSTEM.
