Acceptance tests passed for the Sistema di Bordo Mercurio - Italian Police

The positive outcome was achieved for the acceptance testing of the Mercurio Extended system for the Italian Ministry of the Interior - Public Safety Department, in which Tekne took care of the mechanical design of the fitting, customized on different models of cars and the electrical and electronic project of the alarm management system and the control panel.
Through the demonstration on the first prototypes, the projects were accepted by the customer.
The next step for our company will be the installation of the system on almost 1700 cars of the State Police.
The system will be used for mobile video surveillance and for the automatic license plate reading service (ANPR), allowing rapid intervention in the event of a positive match between the license plate and the police archives.
