During the official ceremony marking the 26th anniversary of the Judicial Police of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sudska policija Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine), held in Sarajevo last Friday, a special bus for transporting prisoners, designed and built by Tekne, was publicly unveiled.
Local authorities and major Bosnian media described the vehicle as one of the first of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the countries of the region, highlighting its innovation, safety, and construction quality.
Purchased with European funding, the new bus was designed to ensure maximum safety, comfort, and discretion during transfer operations.
Among its key features:
- Modular interior compartments for the safe custody of detainees;
- Integrated electronic systems for monitoring, communication, and control;
- Ergonomic spaces dedicated to escort personnel;
- Neutral exterior design, to preserve privacy and institutional decorum.
