Today, at our headquarters in Ortona, we received a welcome visit from the President of our Abruzzo Region, Marco Marsilio, on the occasion of the delivery of 20 pick-ups with a forest fire-fighting module to volunteer associations. Together with President Marsilio, the Director of the Regional Civil Protection Agency Mauro Casinghini was also present.
This year, 40 vehicles have been already delivered to the Abruzzo civil protection, with a further tranche of 20 other vehicles equipped to arrive by the end of the year. In the current Forest Fire-Fighting campaign, the vehicles, equipped with the most advanced technologies, are already frequently intervening in monitoring activities and extinguishing operations, to ensure maximum efficiency in protecting our territory.
