New vehicles for the Italian K-nine Police Units

The expansion of the fleet dedicated to the Police canine units continues with the delivery of four new Fiat Ducato vehicles outfitted by TEKNE, adding to the existing fleet.
The dog transport compartment was designed with a focus on safety, hygiene, and operational functionality.
The configuration features two fixed, stacked cages, each internally divided into two independent boxes, equipped with access doors and a removable partition, allowing flexible management of up to four canine units.
To facilitate the loading and unloading of the animals, the vehicle is equipped with two removable, lockable platforms.
Inside each cage, on the bottom and under the platforms, there is a tank with a containment edge and a drainage system to collect waste produced by the animals. The system ensures that the waste is conveyed to a dedicated waste tank, equipped with a manual valve for discharge outside the vehicle.
There's also a dedicated shower, useful for cleaning the compartment and for animal handling operations.
The passenger compartment features three seats and ample storage space for supplies. Your four-legged friends are always visible through the inspection windows between the two compartments.
