More wildfirefighting vehicles to Regione Abruzzo Civil Protection!

A few days ago, we had the pleasure of hosting several Abruzzo Region Civil Protection Associations at our headquarters. They were engaged in training and familiarization with the new Toyota Hilux with the wildfirefighting TEKNE Module, ready to join the fleet already operating in the region.
60 volunteers enthusiastically and professionally participated in a comprehensive training day, divided into theoretical and practical sessions, dedicated to in-depth knowledge of the new equipment and vehicles.

Last Friday, the official key handover ceremony took place, attended by Director Maurizio Scelli, who definitively assigned the vehicles to the designated associations.
With this handover, the new Toyota Hilux with the AIB TEKNE Module officially enters service, ready to support the prevention and response activities of the Abruzzo Region Civil Protection.

Main features of the TEKNE AIB Module:

• 400-liter steel tank
• HONDA motor pump, 15.5 kW (20.8 HP) / 3600 rpm
• 4-diaphragm pump – 108 liters/minute, 50 bar
• Two swivel hose reels:
• 100 m 1/2" hose with quick couplings
• Stortz D25 high-pressure hose holder with American lance
• Three additional outlets on the control panel (Uni 45, Stortz D25, 3/8" quick coupling)
• Two additional storage compartments
• Electrowelded mesh behind the cabin for securing accessories
• Electric winch with wireless remote control (4,536 kg)
• Rear towing hook with 13-pin socket
