The training and field technical education program we are offering to volunteers and Civil Protection operators in the Lazio Region continues. Today, Rome hosted another training session focused on the effective and safe use of TEKNE's fleet of special vehicles for the forest firefighting campaign (AIB).
The meeting was attended by numerous new local volunteer associations, who came to deepen their technical and operational knowledge of the recently commissioned TEKNE vehicles: the GRAELION AIB and the TALUS AIB.
During this second event, our team of specialists guided participants through theoretical sessions and practical tests focused on the distinctive features of the two platforms:
GRAELION AIB: the compact heavy-duty vehicle with permanent all-wheel drive, renowned for its load capacity and mobility on the most rugged and mountainous terrain.
TALUS AIB: the vehicle that redefines agility standards thanks to its 4-wheel steering system, perfect for rapid maneuvers in tight spaces or in complex coastal environments.
Both models are equipped with firefighting equipment designed to maximize extinguishing capacity, ergonomics, and, above all, operator safety.
Seeing so many volunteers investing their time and enthusiasm in specialized training makes us proud of our work. The entire TEKNE team extends its thanks to all the women and men of the Lazio Region Civil Protection Department for their constant and invaluable commitment to protecting our natural heritage and ensuring the safety of citizens.
